Our most commonly asked questions and things we want you to know

Can I just turn up and pay

No, we ask that you book your session online. On the app it takes all your details. This includes any injuries or illnesses we need to be aware of and also an emergency contact.

What do I bring with me?

We ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the class starting ready to start on time. Please bring with you a towel, this is essential and courteous to others. Also bring with you a water bottle. If you do have an inhaler even if you have never had to use it, please bring it with you!

Are the staff first aid trained?

All our staff are trained in first aid and also DBS checked. We have onsite first aid kits, ice compress and a defibrillator should ever the need arise.

Can my kids sit & watch

Sorry we do not allow for children to be in the building.
The only time we allow for is Teen Gym after inductions and they have to be on a membership or if the parent is Personal Training and they have spoken with the PT prior as an ad hoc situation. This is to ensure we are covered by our insurance and for the health & safety of all.
We ask not to please turn up with children to sit and watch class as we will have to turn away.

Do you have shower facilities?

Yes, we have 3 changing / shower rooms available for use along with hairdryers / locker facilities.
We ask to respect the facilities and leave them clean and tidy as you find them, ready for the next person.

Is there parking on site?

Yes, we have a carpark right outside our unit and there is plenty of off street parking. We just ask you do not block any of the other units gateways even if they are locked, and on a morning not to park in absolutes car park.

How do i Join Teen gym

We do have a waitlist for teen gym of which you can sign up to on the page. it does work on a one off one on basis so we can never really give you an idea of timescale. We do however have events through out the year that your teen may sign up to as one off sessions. Keep an eye out on the website for information.

Do I need to be fit to join?

You will be amazed how many times we get asked this, and also the statement "il just get fitter then join" You can be a complete novice to a pro athlete, you work at your own ability building on your own strength and fitness week on week.. The coaches will ensure you have correct form and technique and the other members will support and encourage you along with making you feel welcome.

Teen Gym 13-16

Our Teen / Youth Gym is capped in numbers so as not to overload the gym & in particular for Health & Safety reasons.

We do have a waitlist that your child can join and it is on a one off one on basis.
Inductions are essential and your child will be assessed to see if they have good technique and are safe to train on their own.
Once they head to 6th form college or uni they will move onto our Student Gym access if they wish to continue on.
